I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has spent more than a decade working primarily with couples. My work focuses on helping partners understand the patterns that drive conflict, miscommunication, and disconnection so they can begin relating to one another in new and more constructive ways.
Couples often come to therapy feeling stuck, discouraged, or unsure how to move forward. My role is to help slow down those difficult moments, bring clarity to what is happening between you, and guide you toward healthier ways of communicating and reconnecting.
Like many people, my understanding of relationships has been shaped not only by my professional training but also by life experience. I have raised two children who are now adults, navigated a long marriage that ended in a peaceful divorce, and am now in a second marriage. Our families continue to celebrate milestones together, which has given me a deep appreciation for how relationships can evolve in healthy ways over time.
I have also experienced the loss of both of my parents, which has deepened my understanding of life transitions, grief, and the many changes that relationships move through across the years.
These experiences inform the way I approach my work. I understand that relationships are complex, and that couples often come to therapy carrying a mix of frustration, hope, and uncertainty. My goal is to provide a thoughtful, steady space where we can begin to understand what has been happening between you and work toward meaningful change.
